Yeah if San Francisco adds Vita Vea that would turn your interior pass rush from one of the worst to one of the best. Shouldn't take more that a 2nd round pick

He also played college ball in Seattle at UDub but we already have Byron Murphy and Leonard Williams so the Niners are a better fit for Vea

I wouldn't be tempted. Surprise cuts and trade requests are unpredictable but happen often. Vea would be a better addition than Carter. Shorter term and less volatility. Cheaper too. Then what? Do they really have the money for what's essentially a gamble? 2027-we're over the cap.

I wonder what's going on in Tampa first Evans dips and now Vea wants out two players that were drafted by and beloved. They were a pretty good team in arguably the weakest division in the NFL with the rise of Embuka

And to think, he dropped down to them because other teams were worried about character. The Eagles and Pats were the teams that could get away with those kinds of moves, without the media going nuts.

It could be done we have one of the highest cap spaces in the NFL right now. I just don't really see them trading for him. Bucs probably want a 2nd for him, that plus a new contract seems a bit steep for a 31 DT albeit Vea seems like a player that can play well into his mid 30s
