I'm surprised the Browns didn't demand Byron Young in return. I know he's older, but he's a much better pass rusher than Jared Verse.

I think it works out well for Cleveland. Verse is top-notch and comes from Ohio. The cap hit won't be so high(June1) and the contract was redone. It's odd Garrett could demand a trade AFTER signing for all that money but something tells me the 'variable' cap hit was figured into his signing a year ago.

As for the niners. It's W.A.S.S.-We are so screwed.

Not rooting for it, but we aren't screwed if the rams suffer half of the injuries that the 49ers had last year. The packers made a big trade last year that didn't work out so well. Rams went all in and won a.Super Bowl not long ago. History doesn't favor striking that gold that way twice in 6 years

Yup, they got a SB and have still been a contender year in year out. Sucks niners blew both those SBs, everyone would be singing a different tune.
