The thing that sucks the most…..at our best over the past 5 years…..we were never this good on defense.

We held the Chiefs, who are a lot better of an offense, to 3 points in the half. Greenlaw getting hurt completely f***cked us.

Yeah I think that was the worst thing I've witnessed as a Niner fan.

No, the thing that sucks the most is we never got a cupcake opponent like this in the SB.

But we were way better on offense. And our defense was good enough. Bad coaching is why we lost.
Sam Darnold is a super bowl champ lol

Only us…..only us would something so unlikely to happen, would actually happen. There's no way that this franchise isn't cursed.

what does this have to do with anything ? first the 2023 chiefs werent a very good offense, and second are you saying that defense under wilks was comparable to this seattle defense ?

I dont remember this seattle defense being as helpless against the run as the 2023 D was against the lions and packers in the offs
Oh, is that how he scored so easily?

That is part of the thing with Kyle, we are going on 10 years next season. How many coaches stay that long and win their first SB? Usually you win one your first few years and get kept around cause you won one.

Kyle has gotten close enough and is young enough that I don't see any need to move on from him but he does need to make some adjustments, to his playcalling, to his staff and especially to how they go about acquiring talent and the things they prioritize. I think he's safe for a few more years to show what he can do and how he responds to a shellacking from a division opponent.

Which is probably why the 9ers wont win one any time soon. Tom Landry is the only coach to win his first SB after a decade, he won one in his 12th.

Fair enough if so.

I read he would be a top 20 pick if no ACL injury. Maybe that's incorrect.

I would take Concepcion over Bell and Concepcion is maddening with all his drops but he's a pure man coverage killer that can get open against anyone and carried the entire offense when he was at NC State.

Really I think they should go BPA in the first, get whoever the best overall talent is since they need a boost in so many areas. Edge, OL, safety, CB, WR, just get someone that will make an impact as a rookie.

I assumed Concepcion will not be there at 27. Same with Sadiq.

Always will agree with going BPA.

2 cupcakes when you add in Cincy…..we had the Rams beat by the easiest INT in playoff history…..that was not caught.

Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold all drafted in 2018. Anyone who thought Darnold would win the SB first at anytime in 2019-2024 would be considered insane.
Imagine Seattle's defense with a true game-changing pass rusher like a Max Crosby. A real force multiplier. Their pass rush is very good, but it can be so much better. They don't really have 1 player that demands a slide that teams have to gameplan for. They're all good enough to win 1-on-1 and do a good job of playing selfless as one unit. but we really haven't seen how good this defense can be.

It is a BFD because that's why they play these games.
You going to try and convince us that NE and Maye should be celebrating their season tonight?
