Is he done for the season?

Haven't heard anything about him, but would love to see him vs Phillip Rivers LOL

He's been playing, just not getting the same production he was pre-injury.

Previously a situational pass rusher, Huff has played more snaps this year than ever before, so I assume the BYE will serve him well in terms of getting back to form.

I think he's still getting pressure just not closing

I agree. I think he's well enough to play. But his burst off the line is not what it was pre-hamstring injury. While the bye week probably helped, what will really help is shutting that problematic hamstring down for 2-3 months. That kind of rest only comes in the off season.

Spot on. We've also been lacking in iDL pass rush. Williams and Matos were strong in that area, and now it's a bit patchwork and hindering in our overall sack production.

It's a lot of IFs, but if YGM can get (and stay) healthy and White/Ferrell continue adding value we will have something to work with for the playoff push. The greatest contingency is YGM. Dude is actually a player but completely unreliable.
Non-existent. He gets blocked by everyone. Lineman, tight ends, wrs.
Has not done s**t in at least a month

Yeah, he hasn't done much since they asked him to play base downs. Not sure if he's gassed or what, but he's clearly lacking the same type of juice he had early in the season. The guy is a total liability as a run defender. You can't play wide 9 and defend the run with most 250-pound ends.

He was never supposed to be every down guy… was planned to be rush end only.. he's played way out of position due to all the injuries.
Still worth the 5th round pick. Hell most of our wr or RB picks never even see the field.at least we got something from this 5th rounder...

I don't know about the financial ramifications of his contract going into the offseason, but I'd like him back next year. Huff is exactly the type of pass rusher you want coming off the bench on money downs.

Just don't have him play base downs.
He'll cost a 5th and not a 4th, per his stats

Yup. He got wore down and played in situations not favorable to his skillset.
