Deebo, Mitchell and/or Mason, #11, one of the 4th rd picks and 2026 2nd... that will be hard for other teams to outbid

49ers get MG and 2025 2nd rd pick

That's pretty good. Cleveland gets a receiver to replace Cooper, two quality starting running backs, and 11 overall. Good playcaller too. I'd make that offer. Although I wonder how the team would take that. It is a business. But it's one thing to let Deebo's deal expire and he seeks greener pastures. Its another to trade him to frickin Cleveland.

I was just guessing that a mix of decent/good players and draft would make it enticing, and Niners get to keep 2nd, 3rds and 4ths

If it could go down to something similar, both teams would really benefit. Browns could draft Edge and DT with two 1sts to kinda make up for losing MG, they still have a couple of guys on their dline that are solid too. Their offense would get a boost, they still have their 2nd rd pick and at least two 4ths plus money to spend on free agency

We wouldn't need Edge, instead get DT, OT, LB, Safety and C (compete with Brendel for back up) in draft

In free agency, they need to sign a real C, and hopefully have enough to pick up another LB, CB and Safety (if Hufanga isn't kept)

Would love it if the 49ers were able to land Garrett but the chances are slim. I can't imagine that there is a team in the NFL that wouldn't want Myles Garrett on their roster, he's the best edge rusher in the NFL.

We have pick #11. That's something a lot of the contenders don't have. We had a massive off-year and this is where it pays off. The difference between #11 and #24 or later is a lot.

#11 with a future 2nd and another pick would be hard for the Browns to refuse.

The Venn Diagram of teams with high picks who are also contenders is virtually non-existent. Just us and maybe Dallas and Miami.

Yeah, hopefully we can pull this off. Give him an extension, with a lot of signing bonus, and spread his cap hit out over 5-6 years to make things feasible.
Would be the best thing (realistically) we could do to get over the hump. He could go at least another 5 years, an Uber athlete in the mould of Peppers.

I was trying to think of a player that's been as consistent as Garrett only two names that came to mind is Julius Peppers and Jason Taylor, Even Garrett is on pace to beat their careers I sure there are others not even JJ Watt was more consistent than Garrett at this point even though he had a tear of 3 years where he would single handily wreck a game

Never gonna happen. All these bozos cry about leaving their respective team(s) for a ring, only to grab the money and head to the next schmo. For Garrett, even taking a contract from the LV or Chargers will be considered "Super Bowl contention". He's not coming here…
Not really a fan of past-prime or near past-prime players that we gotta give up top draft capital for AND pay top dollar to. Guys like Garrett, Kahlil Mack, Joey Bosa, Von Miller, etc... (just some examples of that type of player that comes to mind). It just never seems like you get what you're hoping to get. I mean, if the draft capital and contract is cheap, then I'm all in lol. Would much rather get a Maxx Crosby for that cost.

I think it's 2 years difference between the two and as good as Crosby is, is the drop off worth 2 extra prime years? I'll be honest. Id love Garrett, but for the capital necessary, I'd want a longterm deal in place. Garrett also has to be willing to give up some coin since he wants a "contender". We are talking top 10 as opposed to a top 3/highest paid contract like he deserves.

We don't know what the Browns would want in exchange. We don't even know if they'll trade him.

Common sense says they're not going to want players. They're going to want picks. If they trade Garrett they're not going to want more salaries. The Watson contract is enough of a headache already and the only thing they can do is wait 2-3 years for it to run out. Picks is the only thing of any value to Cleveland, if they trade Garrett.
