i don't know about that. he is turning 30 in season. he may have only 2-3 years of high level play left. what is nice about a rookie is that guy is on a 4 year low cost deal, with a year 5 option.

Getting an All Pro for a draft pick is always good business as long as you can afford it. The bust rate for 1st rounders isn't great.

I don't think he's coming here regardless

Here's the reality. If you're going to pay some stars, you've got to balance that out with rookie talent and contracts. Paying stars at their peak earnings hurts both cap and draft capital, and at that point, a Very high percent of them will drop off in performance and availability, and longevity, and result in dead cap money. It's a play for desperate losers.

Myles Garrett easily has 3 yrs of high end play left, the 14+ sack leader your questioning has double digit sacks 7 years in a row, best help he's had was Clowney in that time. Pair him with Bosa imagine what he can do and vice versa.

Straight across for Aiyuk, and we keep all our high draft picks, and I'd do it.

Yeah let's look past a reigning DPOY/HOF to pair with Bosa There's no one in FA and no sure fire prospects in the draft at 11 to help Bosa. This is exactly what we've been looking for since that 2019 DL that rocked the nfl. We have all the cards in place to make this happen.

We have no cards. We won six games. He wants to join a contender and is from Texas.

Fine, let them run up the middle every down. Good luck keeping up with Kyle's offense. Can't wait to see Fred Warner and Mustapha both make First Team All-Pro after leading the league in run stops.

The Cowboys suck. The Texans are good but even with Garrett they're a second-tier team in the AFC.

Exactly, the draft is a crapshoot, could draft another kinlaw and Myles is proven
We aren't getting him for number 11 overall. It's going to take more. If all it took was 11, teams in the top 10 would've jumped in and offered their first.

he probably doesn't want to play for any of those teams. he'll probably give the browns a short list of teams he'll play for, and it will be between those teams.

He said he wanted to win, what team picking top 10 team is built to win now? But still I think it will take take at least 3 1st rounders, but he'll end up in KC for a fraction of that.

Well none of those teams in the top 10 are contenders so that isn't a good point. Myles wants on a contender. Niners had a down year due to injuries. Loaded with talent. I can see him wanting to play here. I also understand it will take more. But I'd package 11

My only concern with this possibility isn't with Garrett, but the draft capital that it would require to get him. We need to add to multiple spots: O-line, DT, DE, maybe LB and DB. Would the cost to get him keep us from being able to do that? Another issue is would such a cost put us in a hole? We all remember how what we gave up for Trey Lance hurt the team. Would we at risk of repeating that? I'm all for looking into acquiring Garrett, but if the cost exceeds a certain point, we may need to be weary.
