S. Sanders isn't the first player to fall in the draft due to character concerns. Imagine an employer passing on an every day Joe because they are a "bad fit".

One things for sure is that NYG looks like they made the right decision with Dart.

Character concerns? What character concerns? There have no reports about Shadeur having poor character. No previous players, or even the press has ever reported Shadeur having poor character. All reports speak to how good and humble of a person he is, and God-fearing he is. So please, enlighten us on the character concerns.

He seemingly failed every team interview he had. That's hard to do. Kind of like a "do you know who i am" attitude. He's a hard pass.

Do you think he should have been picked over Dart?

Hell, even d. Gabriel moved the offense down the field better than Sanders did.

How do you fail a team interview?

Maybe Solomon Thomas and Ruben Foster aced their 49ers team interview, But P. Mahomes failed his 49er interview?

I don't know. Maybe he nailed every team interview and still fell to the 5th round? What does that say about how he was valued?

To ask that question is to assumes a fair and impartial process to begin with, coming from an entity that has been proven to be unfair, partial, and full of agendas.

Open question to all: why isn't the NFL suing Eric Dickerson regarding his claims?

Can I ask you a question, why do you think Sanders fell all the way to the 5th round then?

Obviously you haven't read anything I've posted on this topic. Otherwise you wouldn't have asked that question.

Obviously I have never responded to you on this topic which is why I'm asking?

The Sanders Bros are playing seven dimensional chess.

I bet you haven't seen the reports that the Sanders Bros are actually conspiring to land on the same practice squad and they realized the only way to oppress the oppressors and make that happen was to be so awful they would pass through waivers unclaimed and negotiate for practice squad positions as the Prime Pair.

You have no idea how silly the NFL is going to look when the #1 selling jersey is for practice squad players. The Sanders Bros have actually forced the NFL to let them design their own Prime Jersey which will have colors from every NFL team and an icon of their dad. They won't even have numbers on them so their fans don't have to buy new ones every time the Sanders Bros are cut. This selfless act of goodwill toward their adoring fans will clearly cost the Sanders Bros a lot of money as their millions of dedicated fans would gladly buy new jerseys every time they get shuffled to a more deserving team who will give them an honest chance. The joke is on the unbelievers because the Sanders Bros have already forced the NFL to concede to an anticipatory Double Secret Prime Deal. This gives the Sanders Bros 160% of jersey sales to compensate for their never-before-seen fan-focused Prime Fan revolution.

Edit: This is my way of saying Shedeur is currently a practice squad caliber player that most people wouldn't want on their practice squad.

Funny, when reports were coming out about how bad Dillon Gabriel was looking in rookie cam, TC, and in practice I saw none of this energy against Shedeur. It was near radio silence. Kind of says a lot. Now, when Dillon was clearly game planned with a bunch of one-read quick throws, one read quick outs where half the field was schemed away for him with a much better O-line and supporting cast, and people just forget the horrible practices and camp he had. Yet Shedeur was given a horrible O-line yet a game plan that had a bunch of long developing plays. I say none of the one-read, quick out play calls that Dillon got. If anyone was watching this game with any objectivity you can't come away thinking that the gameplans were the same. But it's cool

So I tell you what. Since Shedeur Sanders is garbage as many here are implying then we should be seeing the Browns cut him, right? After all, he's just hype and not that good. So keeping this project isn't worth a roster spot. Can we all agree with that?

Soooo....it's preseason...so back ups generally play with back ups, and 3rd stringers generally play with 3rd stringers. Most teams don't have a great starting offensive line, so it's not shocking that the Browns' 3rd stringers are "awful". Also, it's preseason...wins/losses/stats don't count...so imagine them having their rookie QB working on things they think need improvement and getting some examples on film. Do you think the Jaguars were trying to put Cam Little into a position to fail when they had him try a 70 yard field goal?

I am betting you think Colin Kraperneck can still play, and was just black balled by the league for no reason - right?

Or is it more obvious that you haven't read anything I've posted on this topic, hence your question. Isn't reading fundamental? Whether you respond or not is irrelevant. Asking to know where I stand on your question 22 pages in is, well, superfluous when reading would have answered your question.

Firstly, Kap wasn't blackballed for nothing. He was blackballed for taking a knee to protest police brutality.

If you think that generally backup play against backup you're definitely not following the game.

But like I said, Shedeur Sanders played poorly. The team clearly favor Dillon over him as evidenced by all the 1st snaps he got in camp even though Dillon looked poorly, while Shedeur got 0. Shedeur is a 5th round pick and 4th on the depth chart. Given this we should be expecting him to be cut, right? Afterall, what's the point of keeping 4 QB's on the active roster when the 4th won't even dress for games?

Now that's interesting, because I can genuinely say the same thing about many responses here. But I choose to actually attack the argument instead.

Edit: Oh, and by the way, I've been coaching and scouting for 18 years now. I do think I know what I'm looking at.

Got it, so its the bias.

Lol getting all personal, it's a simple question. But to be honest I don't care to really read through your post. Obviously skimming through this you seem to have some kind of biased towards Sanders. I would hope it's because you attended Colorado or are you lived there before because other than that it's silly.

This reminds me of a post i seen on twitter the other day where some social justice activist lady said almost the same exact thing as you but also added the oline that played in front of Shedeur purposedly did not block for him thus sabotaging him. She was later blasted for her ignorance by former Olineman. She didnt realize those same backup olinemen are also fighting for a job/paycheck as well. No way they would do that and ruin their career because the mean ole Browns are out to get Shedeur.

This is exactly why he dropped so far in the draft. Its the clown show that comes with him. Nobody wants that in their backup QB.

I wonder why this never happened to these 2nd generation talents whose fathers were famous players?

Frank Gore Jr
Patrick Surtain II
Kellen Winslow Jr
Asante Samuel Jr
Brendan Rice
Thadeus Moss
DK Metcalf
Marlon Humphrey
Jaycee Horn

These Shedeurstans are like a caricature of every stereotype

I'm hardly taking this personal. This is intellectual back and forth, which I rather enjoy. I was simply addressing the redundancy of your question. I'll say this again, I am a fan of Shedeur because I was a bigger fan of his father who helped us win a SB. So yes, I do want to see him succeed. But it's kind of hard to do so when your employer really didn't want you in the first place. No, I've never lived in Colorado much less went to their school. But I think it's equally intellectually "silly" (your word) to imply that someone has to have some geographical tie in order to advocate that they be handled fairly. My comprehension stains to find the purpose of that assertion other than to find an excuse dismiss one's position, which is, well, intellectually lazy.
