shadeur is a playmaker imo but never learned to play a system

I don't know. Maybe he nailed every team interview and still fell to the 5th round? What does that say about how he was valued?

To ask that question is to assumes a fair and impartial process to begin with, coming from an entity that has been proven to be unfair, partial, and full of agendas.

Open question to all: why isn't the NFL suing Eric Dickerson regarding his claims?

Funny, when reports were coming out about how bad Dillon Gabriel was looking in rookie cam, TC, and in practice I saw none of this energy against Shedeur. It was near radio silence. Kind of says a lot. Now, when Dillon was clearly game planned with a bunch of one-read quick throws, one read quick outs where half the field was schemed away for him with a much better O-line and supporting cast, and people just forget the horrible practices and camp he had. Yet Shedeur was given a horrible O-line yet a game plan that had a bunch of long developing plays. I say none of the one-read, quick out play calls that Dillon got. If anyone was watching this game with any objectivity you can't come away thinking that the gameplans were the same. But it's cool

So I tell you what. Since Shedeur Sanders is garbage as many here are implying then we should be seeing the Browns cut him, right? After all, he's just hype and not that good. So keeping this project isn't worth a roster spot. Can we all agree with that?

Trey Lance went #3 overall, no longer a starter what does that say about the folks who valued him at #3 overall?

Drafting is a crap shoot, full of bias and collusion. Purdy was the last pick in the draft, now he's one of the highest paid players. Why not draft him in the first round?

The league seems to have felt threatened by Sanders, maybe because he's a brash young QB who came from a HBCU and made high level D1 football look bad? He was not evaluated on the up and up, but the NFL is big on collusion.

Nope. Picket has been QB2 since they traded for him. They gave up a draft pick for him. They think way more of him that they do of Shedeur. According to even the Browns owner they really didn't want Shedeur. Thus, Shedeur has been QB4 no matter how things have looked in practice, camp, and the games. Today should give the Browns all the reason they need to cut him. If he clear waivers they can bring him back, if they and Shedeur want. That's how things go in the NFL. Because after all, he's just a 5th round a developmental QB. So cutting him should be the likely result because teams never keep 5th round developmental QB on the active roster. And why should they? Why keep a player on the active roster who likely won't see the field? That's not good roster management. The only way Shedeur sees the field is if the 3 QB's in front of him get injured. Only the 49ers suffered that kind of luck during the regular season.

So I fully expect the Browns to cut Shedeur Sanders.

He made S1 look bad? One winning season?

All the more reason to cut him. They're clearly not invested in him given how he's been handled. He looked bad today. He's a 5th rounder, and 4th on the depth chart. He shouldn't be taking up space on the active roster when he's not going to even dress for games. Cut him.

I listened to the whole interview. Dickerson only confirmed some things about how the owners have handled Shadeur, he exposed some horrible things about how the NFL owners have, and still do treat the players, especially their retired players. It's horrible. And, after listening to Dickerson I don't wanna ever hear what NFL teams, or the NFL can't afford. I knew the NFL players union was weak. I didn't know it was this weak. It borderlines cowardice.

I did not read what Dickerson had to say.....but...just a reminder....Player interactions both current and past is bound in collective bargaining.

One of the longest on going grips is old players not being able to profit on the new NFL popularity, but that is completely by design....that is how the players union wants it. Every time collective barging comes up the Players union squashes proposals to enrich retired players.

It was a spider web in the face kind of day for the Sanders bros.
