I'm honestly trying to figure out what this logic about "it's going to take time to fix negative habits" argument is all about. Let's say Darnold starts week 1. Your argument is that he's going to have all of these weapons to throw to, a genius play caller, and a very good run game - and NONE of that is going to make a difference? How would you explain his jump in production and reduction in mistakes going from the Jets to the Panthers (who are no where near as good as SF offensively)? Why can't he have a similar or even greater leap from the Panthers to the Niners?
Exactly what "bad habits" have you guys observed of his playing time in NY? Are you just referring to his stats/turnovers? Or have you guys actually watched film and seen bad footwork, mechanics, etc? Serious questions.
Sees ghosts, bad footwork, bad decision making. Lil of everything.
Never said it won't make a difference. Obviously the team is good enough to win with him. They are good enough to win with Trey too. Faithful said there is no reason to think he won't perform on par with Jimmy. That's the crux of the disagreement.
winning cures all
That was good
