TBH, I'd rather see what Darnold has than trade for Cousins. And this is coming from someone who wanted Cousins before.

Cousins stuff is all smoke.

#1 his contract is a lil prohibitive
#2 MIN doesn't have a QB (Mullens doesn't count)
#3 MIN doesn't have much draft capital or position to land a Week 1 QB in this draft
#4 SF doesn't have draft capital to trade for Cousins; unless MIN is giving him away.. why would they give him away.. see #2 and #3.

It will be Darnold and TL

MIN probably drafts a QB of the future; let's him sit a year under Cousins, maybe this Hooker

Oh no, you're most likely right. But if SF is trading for Cousins then you best believe that Trey Lance is in that discussion.

MIN won 13 games last year. They beat BUF in BUF. NFC is weaker than AFC, imo. If I am MIN, and I see Rodgers leaving, I think we can take the NFC North. That means a home playoff game with guys like Cook, Jefferson, new D coordinator, etc. They have a Super Bowl shot. Trading for TL is a rebuild type move. They aren't in that position.
FYI Sam Darnold has $1.2M of his $7M in incentives counting against the cap, for 4 wins with 25% playtime last year with the Panthers, considered LTBE. I knew this weeks ago, but finally can say it, since OTC has it on their site as of yesterday.

They beat Buffalo in Buffalo because Josh Allen fumbled a kneel down.

In fairness, what came before that kneeldown.. it was Kirk throwing a TD to a wide open Dalvin Cook, who dropped it. So you may say well the fumble shouldn't have happened, sure, but the wide open TD shouldn't have been dropped either. MIN outplayed em, even Sam Darnold knows that.

And the prayer that Justin Jefferson caught one handed shouldn't have been caught either.

None of that compares to a game ending play that is fumbled.

google the vid on YouTube.. it's called Dalvin Cook drops easy touchdown pass. without that drop, your play doesn't even happen. Sam Darnold was probably watching he knows what I am talking about. That was a sick catch no doubt

I think Darnold has a leg up on Trey because he is more experienced as a player (college and pro), although Trey might know the system better atm.

Bad experience doesn't give you a leg up.

Oh stop with that b******t. You act like Darnold loss every game he played in. You could pretty much say the same crap about Trey Lance, what is he now 1-3….oh wait excuse me sorry he's 2-2 he got credit for that win JIMMY took over vs Seattle.
