The Darnold move was very wise at the time it was made given Purdy's status. Reports that Purdy has returned to Florida to work on his technique provide more assurance that he will be ready by Week 1. That revitalizes the conversation about what to do with an "extra" QB on the roster. Do we really want to keep both Lance and Darnold or do we try to recoup draft capital by moving one of them? That convo will continue for a while.
I don't think it will be the convo. With three question marks at the position, I see us dressing all three, and taking advantage of our rule, which we got passed.
