Yeah Brock losing Deebo in the middle of a game that was already a blowout is the same thing as:

-No Kittle
-Jeff Wilson Jr. instead of Christian Mccaffrey
-60% of the OL playing for the first time
-playing in the rain on the road
-week 1

Yeah, totally even.

notice the no Kittle, no CMC comments..
plus our OL is playing for the first time.. with HOF Trent btw
and again the infamous weather..

ppl can decide for themselves if this is anything worth discussing many months later or if it's just excuses for why we lost to a 3-14 team that earned pick #1
if JF can win with Pettis, EQ ST Brown, TL can win with Deebo, Trent, BA and put it in the endzone.. but he's got to improve

Dude. Your reading comprehension is painfully bad, or you are being intentionally obtuse.

That list is not a list of reasons/excuses why the 49ers lost. It is not a list of reasons why Trey didnt have a good game. It is literally just a factual list of differences between week 1 and the games Purdy played in. Period.

Stop changing the conversation or turning this into something it isnt.

You make it sound like Shanahan, Deebo, Aiyuk, Trent freaking Williams, Juice are all a group of chumps..

are they as good as the same with CMC / Kittle.. obviously no, that doesn't even need said, if that's your point..

you can't explain away the dif of how TL looked and how Brock looked through supporting cast.. that ignores how robotic TL was looking and how smooth BP was looking, that's not 100% on CMC, recall Baker played with CMC and got fired for example.

If Jimmy was the alternative or Darnold, I'd agree and would accept that. After watching what Brock did, no way would I give him all the time and opportunities. He clearly gets a chance this off season but if it doesn't look anything close to what I witnessed last year, i'd be putting Brock in once he's cleared and ready.

First off this isn't me s**tting on Brock, want to make that completely clear…this is just a statement of what I saw. Yes Brock processed much quicker. He played well under pressure, especially compared to Jimmy. Overall I didn't see some magical QB play…especially as the season went on and into the playoffs. Both young QBs are gonna be developing here. It's not prime Rogers or whatever. There's gonna be ups and downs from them.

Can Brock develop more? Can he sustain the TD to INT ratio? I don't know. Im all for seeing where it goes, but I'm not gonna hand the keys over to anyone regardless. I don't think Lance or Brock get a full season of up and down play. IMO we will probably see both guys playing this year.
TL is a work in progress doesn't mean he can't have a great offseason, win with his arm, I'd suggest he start by looking at the BP film, Brock put the blueprint of what we are looking for on tape

His ball fakes are awful too. Doesn't look smooth in anything he does

YYou can time has wind up with a sundial. It has to get faster or he can't play in this league.

I mean if there's one thing you constantly prove in here it's you know nothing about the QB position.

Of course. That's why Trey's been working on it for the last two years.

Has he lol? You can always tighten up the mechanics overall I remember Kyle lance and a QB coach from 3DQB saying they weren't changing much in his throwing motion. It was just the lower half stuff….4:33 into the video…

Damn, I still hope he gets a chance to develop. I hope he gets a chance in some garbage time games. I def don't hope it's cause of injuries.
Man Lynch really pissed off all the team Lancers.

Man you really hate him uh? In an ideal world we have two good QBs because we can't seem to get anyone to play a full season.

Right? Who's pissed? If healthy Brock is the leader of the pack there. I don't think anyone thought otherwise. Speaking for myself, it was the fact that Lance would be getting a ton of first team reps this off-season while he recovers. While I hope Brock is magically 100% ready to participate in training camp starts…from what I've been told/read that's not a for certain timeline.

We will see how it all plays out, this team clearly needs more than one startable QB on this roster.

This is true.. and a reason why Mr Darnold is in town and likely relevant to our 2023 season

The competition will hopefully bring out the best in the two guys to the point one can take the step necessary to be an elite guy.
