Now I guess I'll take your word for it but I have a very hard time believing you would have rooted for McCorkle.

That's a long sentence.
I'll keep it shorter for you in the future professor so you can keep up.

It doesn't take a professor to understand the basic concept of punctuation, but thanks for the compliment!

Sounds like Trey will definitely start the season as QB1. Tough to prove you can stay healthy on the bench.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement by Niner brass for Lunch Trey.... translation: "Trey Lance has much to prove if he is going to stay on this roster"

The actual translation is "Trey is QB1 heading into 2023 and will have to prove he can stay healthy."

So basically your claim goes from 'countless people' were happy about injury to maybe someone was cuz it's not unfathomable.. pretty weak.

No one is cheering injury dude. If you see it call it out.. it's not common and pretty sick imo.

The guy that is claiming that people were cheering an injury is one of the three guys on here that claim someone said something with no proof but also deny everything they say when they are wrong. They think they are right about everything and their opinion is the only thing that matters. Also be careful cause they will hit the report button on you.

but it's hilarious they have some random guy trying to defend them against you lol

I'm actually one of the few posters that have pulled up old posts to defend my point many many times. And when I did that, someone said it was creepy and I should stop. It's a lose-lose situation. I'd rather not do that again today.

I also don't think I'm right about everything. I've been wrong about a lot of specific players, Kinlaw, Sermon, and so on… I just understand the difference between saying "I think" vs "I know" and which not many people understand and how they apply to a 8 year veteran vs a QB with 4 starts.

Ironically, I'm declining to respond to faithful6 anymore for the same reasons you just mentioned. I blocked him once for clearly lying and putting words in my mouth several times.

Edit: I've also never reported anyone. So pretty much nothing you said was accurate. Congrats!

Can you stop calling him Lunch Trey? What does that even mean?

Looking forward to Trey lighting it up in training camp and preseason.

49ers need to pay Brock good moneyz $$$

On another note, I am devastated by the Purdy injury, but the silver lining is that it opens the door for us to get a definitive answer on Trey. I was slightly worried that we roll with Brock and he becomes a solid starter for us for years, but Trey would go somewhere else and grow into an elite QB. Especially if he really is a transcendental type player. A lot of what ifs, sure, but I like the idea of finding out for ourselves rather than him never having a good chance with us.

This x 100000000

Same exact sentiment I have on the whole situation.

I wanna see what Lance is or isn't for myself before we trade him. Brock going down will allow this so as long as Brock will come back at 100% of what he was when he played this is a silver lining to see what Trey is. If he is underwhelming like Jimmy was we can rock with Brock and make the switch.

If you smear 'countless ppl' as 'cheering injury' I will call it out. if your response when I call it out is to block, so be it. I enjoy your takes but when I see stuff I don't agree with I will give my 2 cents. Vast majority of your stuff is good stuff.

They can't while he is on his last pick rookie contract even if they wanted to. Same as they have to keep paying Lance millions to be Purdy's assistant
