Patience people.

When you use 3 1sts and a 3rd to draft a player, the expectations should be rightfully high

Agreed, but those expectations also require patience.

You can't expect big things from a QB who only has two starts under his belts through his career. Let's at least give him a full season before deciding If he was worth all that draft capital we Invested.

I'm saying for that much capital it should have been a day 1 starter. That's not what you spend on a project. It was foolish, but I hope it works out.

Clamoring for Nick Mullens? Seriously?

Yup for the exact same reasons you guys were ready to move on from Jimmy. Easy to question it in hindsight. Nick's crutch was the turnovers

Hindsight.

Like posting repeatedly about how vernon davis was a bad pick and pining ofr Michael Huff.

how is that hindsight? I said that long before the pick was made and i'm pretty sure he didn't revolutionize the TE position like he was supposed to do.

He was a pro bowler and playoff performer. Huff was a scrub.

Hindsight is me reflecting about how you cant judge players for s**t.

You are gloating about your guy making the playoffs and pro bowl in a Trey Lance thread when the QB I wanted did that in his rookie year.

outside of trevor lawrence no qb in that draft had both a high ceiling and were day 1 starter ready in this offense.

mac jones wouldn't have given us a potential much beyond what we got from jimmy.

swinging for the fences was not a foolish move there. qbs with high end traits are worth the price in the moden nfl

Kriz wanted anyone but Davis, but especially Michael Huff. We went round and round about the two with Kriz being especially passive-aggressive and disrespectful in that debate to the point that I rarely respond to his posts hoping to avoid a repeat of the ridiculousness and always take his player evals with a grain of salt since he's proven time and again to be off far more than not.

You are still doubling down that you weren't wrong before. You lose credibility with that.

Regarding Mac Jones I feel he is already near his ceiling. In my opinion he leaves a lot to be desired. Time will tell. But your track record sucks.

I was wrong on Huff but as Wininer just posted I was really on the anyone bit Vernon train. Kind of like anyone but Trey train this year. Just like Trey people see the phyiscal attributes and fall in love with it. I'm not a physical attribute kind of guy. Vernon struggled with catching and separting coming out of college and both of those things are kind of important to be revolutionizer of the position. As it stands IMO. Most of Vernon's big plays were scheme plays where he was schemed open and made big plays. Kudo for him for taking advantage of it but to me he was nothing special

Yep. I'm not convinced at all watching his play.

Don't fret, he'll be fine.

With all due respect it's easier to lose you s**t when you are debating 85 different people. compared to your one(me). kind of like right now

I find someone who makes plays special but moving on...

If you dont like physical attributes what do you like about Jones? What makes him special?

I'm seeing everyone has their own qualifications they like in A QB.

Mine is 1. Accuracy 2. Ball placement 3. Decision making

Others like RPMs. Some like type of offense etc.....
