Nobody said Jimmy didn't make mistakes, you just said that Stafford didn't.
Whatever leads to wins. Whether it be in he pocket or outside the pocket. This team is SB ready. And according to many, we've upgraded the main problem. No excuses.

Yeah that statement was completely wrong 😂 Stafford in FACT did fold. Every time he played us he was playing against a few backups on defense as well. Especially in the secondary which he should have NO excuse to fold against us but yet he did. Both times he played us in the regular season he got beat, he threw the critical interception against us in week 18 that allowed us to get in the playoffs. He also threw two interceptions against us the first game at our home when he got absolutely destroyed and looked like garbage. He did fold twice. In the playoffs he was very close to throwing another two interceptions in tartt dropping the easiest pick any of us have ever seen.

So yes, he did fold against us and as a matter of a fact this is the qb that LED the NFL in interceptions and pick sixes. Stafford folded plenty of times with pressure up the middle. Against us, the Titans and many other teams throughout the year. Just a really really bad example

As usual you missed the whole point. We are not defending Jimmy at all. I hope you got that part. Just stating Stafford folds A LOT. Just because you want to rip on Jimmy some more, it does not excuse the fact that Matt Stafford led the league in interceptions and folded many times. In the playoffs he was not good. Like I said, just a really horrible horrible example of a quarterback not folding under pressure as you say. Nobody said Jimmy doesn't fold under pressure. Although Jimmy has had quite a few clutch game winning drives. So that is not a good basis for your argument as well. Just a horrible example that's all.

Anyways back to Trey Lance I am sure he can at least perform as well as Jimmy if not better. 20 touchdowns and under 12 interceptions should be a cakewalk for him. I bet Trey will get more TDs in less than 10 games.

Expecting the Defense to shut out a team in the playoffs is tough enough.. expecting them to shut out a team in the 4th with the offense giving the defense no rest is impossible

Expecting top end qb play from a quarterback with Chris Jones in his face two seconds after the ball is snapped is pretty unreasonable. Once again, it's a team game and having to explain this over and over to people who ignore this when it suits their agenda is tiresome.

you don't need top end QB play at that very moment..

just need to make the play. the time to throw was there, but there wasn't time for JG to hesitate.. that was the difference

Yeah he won't admit he's wrong or that it was a horrible example, just don't even talk about it anymore . You don't use a quarterback who led the NFL in interceptions as somebody that doesn't fold. It's hilarious.

Anyways, I'm just glad Lance doesn't seem like a turnover prone guy, he will never lead the league in ints like Stafford, he wasn't in college so let's hope going forward it's more of the same. I'm projecting him to get close to 30 touchdowns and around 12 to 15 interceptions with a lot more throwing attempts than Jimmy

What are your TD/Int projections for Trey?

It would've been nice to see Stafford on that 4th down in the SB. Too bad the refs stepped in and basically handed him a TD, so we'll never know.

Yessir. This is 287 yds per game average 2-3 TDs per game. Doable if KS lets him loose on the league. Only guy who can stop TL is KS.

LET TREY SAUTE.

Yes you're right having the worst 4th QR rating in Super History didn't matter. Having more INTs than TDs and overall the worst 4th QR rating in all of his playoff games combined didn't affect "blowing leads" late in games.

We lost that SB for a bunch of reasons, ONE major reason was because of the QB play...who if he did his job correctly late in games, wouldn't have to depend on the pass rush.

I'd say the defensive collapse late in the game was the single biggest factor, followed by our offensive line getting bulldozed, then qb play. Bottom line, it ended up being a team effort, like football is most of the time.

But the QB play fell off long before the o line got bulldozed.
