He let the cookie bake
The more I watch his plays from yesterday the more I like where he's at. Keep cleaning up those mechanics and make those reads and we are in business

There's nothing deep about it. We just need to be patient and take the time to bake this QB cookie instead of spending all season snacking on Jimmy Chips Ahoy while ignoring the bowl of raw cookie dough sitting in the fridge.

just got back from vacation... oh mannn lol...
I've been on the Jimmy side of the conversation/decision since we drafted Lance. It makes sense for Jimmy to repeat his success from 2019 for several reasons (future draft compensation in a trade, short term success, maintaining the team's identity and not splitting the locker room, giving Trey time to learn, etc).

This last game changed things for me and it wasn't the way Trey played that did it. Jimmy getting hurt like he did and by choice or not getting replaced in the second half (IMO if that's 100% our team's quarterback, he's playing through that injury and Jimmy looked like he wanted to.) I wonder how much the identity of this team is being held back by the situation at the position. If Shanny and Jimmy aren't going to take the next step with each other in THIS offense THIS season, then let's see what he can do with Lance this week. Come the bye week, this team can hide from the media and hopefully get their ish together.

They need to rest Jimmy these next two weeks and let Trey play. Once Jimmy is healthy again, assess the situation and either put Jimmy back in or stick with Trey.

I agree, we'll even find out that though raw cookie dough can be sickly, it's still pretty damn good

Cheers NY, it always makes me laugh people trying to jump on Kyle's play calling. Dude is playing 4D chess, he doesn't care if he loses a few pieces he's plotting the checkmate.

For me it's never been Trey vs Jimmy, it's what Kyle can do with Trey at his disposal. Combine that with what Trey will be when he's developed and it's an easy decision for me.

If I were Jimmy I'd do everything I could to play this week, I think it'll be the last we see of him as our starting QB if he doesn't.

Not saying Trey will light up the Cards, but with the development of that game and the starters reps in the bye week and Kyle should be confident enough to start him.

Guy is twice as talented as that 30 year old cookie in the fridge but we have a supposed play scheming sevant at play caller. That's about right. Some sevants can't dress themselves or wipe their own asses. We have a reality idiot as head coach. However he's being forced to play Jimmy from above. It's the York's. Way too much money invested. It's a shame to see Trey left to rot on the vine due to a looser owner and head coach

1 blown sb. He was not the head coach for the Falcon's and was not responsible for the defenses debacle.

I'd say he played a massive part in getting to that SB though...
