these coordinators should really just stick with their teams that made them successful, but money talks

I agree with this for the most part. I've long since believed these teams need to treat/pay these top coordinators like head coaches to keep them.

Sure some of these dudes really really want a shot at being a head coach but some of these dudes just chasing the bag and not really HC material.

If I'm an owner and have something great going I'm going to try and pay to keep it. Especially a team like Detroit. IMO Campbell NEEDED Ben Johnson. I'm keeping his ass at all costs

Honestly the year before Brian Flores got fired I thought that team was primed to go on a run the following year. Brian had that team locked in and competing with everyone. Off of recent memory he want having success with a lot of wins but the team looked really good.

Brian Flores was doing well with them until Tua got his first concussion and the owner wanted to tank

if they somehow lose to the Patriots on Sunday, they'll be going into Buffalo 0-2 week 3 and be absolutely cooked lol..

I'm with you.
I think we'd have some competition.. he may not be cut out to be a HC (at least not yet) but as an OC/play designer, he will be a hot commodity.

That's like asking if I want my favorite band to get back together.

All though i agree 100%, NFL HC salaries and contracts are ridicuolous. You can be good ass OC or DC and make 1 million per year IF youre lucky, then become a HC and get a 5 million per year for 4 years guaranteed? if you suck, Its almost a guarantee youll still get an OC gig.

Look at Leftwich. Wasnt he considered like the next big thing but he declided all these HC gigs for the right fit? Before you knew it, he phased out and never got a chance again.

That's not true. He didn't decline a bunch of interviews. He only declined an interview with the Jaguars b/c he had a beef with Baalke.
An actual quote from McDaniel postgame interview yesterday "to win games, you have to win the game not lose the game" oh thanks Captain obvious. Are we sure we want this guy to come back lol?
