Great having him back for year two. Made amazing strides in his first year as DC.

If you only allow 20 against a high powered offensive team like the Rams, a loss is on our offense IMO. Have to find a way to score 21+.

Facts, scoring 17 is unacceptable

In the 4th quarter, after the Rams cut the score to 17-14, our offense punted twice and had the game-ending INT. That's unacceptable. The offense CAN NOT do that in a fourth quarter.

But over the course of the game, the defense allowed drives of 5:32, 9:33, 4:20, 2:56, 3:29, 3:06, 4:40. As the game went on, you can tell they were gassed. The Rams had a 60% conversion rate on third down. The Rams controlled that game and it's a wonder we were even leading at the end of the third.

I agree the offense failed, but the defense didn't play its best game either.

I'm just of the opinion the talent level isn't up to snuff at CB.

Tartt/Ward are okay and are relatively steady at Safety, though perhaps not as opportunistic as we'd prefer.

But at CB, Moseley is just an average CB. Ambry Thomas, as promising as he is, is still a rookie. K'Waun is a solid nickelback… but against Cooper Kupp and OBJ, I think that was a tough sled for these three once the Rams figured out to rely on a shorter passing game to neutralize our pass rush.

When you take 10 minutes to score 7 points there's only so much you can score. That defense got annihilated and manhandled. The rams had almost 400 yards of offense. Compare that to week 18 where it was around 250. 11 3rd down conversions. Embarrassing.

No way the d played it's best, the offense didn't do them any favors either. But it's funny how the d wasn't at its best and should've still won the game if it had a competent offense. Holding a high powered offense like LA's to 20 should be more than enough to win the game. Give this man better cbs and depth and a legit edge opposite of Bosa

That 10 minute drive after we pinned them at their 3 was back-breaking. The Rams did exactly what we've done to them and a bunch of other teams this year.
Looks like he's sticking around, and that makes me happy.

The D improved quite a bit through the year, in spite of having some serious question marks in the Defensive Backfield. With a good Draft, wise choices in re-signing our FA's/RFA's, and a choice outside FA or two, this will be a top notch Defense.

I still think that Kinlaw (if completely healthy) shores up the inside, and the DL is a Strength of the Team.

Giving up 20 points on 35 minutes TOP and 11/18 third down conversions allowed is an absolute destruction of our defense. They won the game by keeping our offense off the field and wearing our defense down. It's the same exact formula we use, but they did it to us this time.
Hell yes. Glad he's staying for now.
Defense played like chumps last night. Taunting, personal fouls, late hits, headhunting? What the f**k was all that trash. We haven't done that s**t all year. Completely out of character. I'm not too mad we blew the lead, that happens. I'm more upset we lost composure in the biggest moments of the game.

I think they had a Rush of the blood to the head and wanted to prove a point. Hopefully they won't make the same mistakes moving forward.

hope he learned a lot after this season.. hope he learned to double up on the opposition's best WR instead of watching the guy continue to run routes like he's got no coverage..

Punted on their first drive. And that was it. 1 damn punt. All game.

When you don't sustain long drives the Rams possess the ball all day and your D gets spent.
