Are there really people who think the NFL is going to ban Deshaun Watson for paying for sex?

This is the same league that welcomed Mike Vick back after electrocuting and hanging dogs, several players with DWIs resulting in fatalities, and half the Vikings team who flew in hookers from ATL and put them on a Love Boat in the middle of Lake Minnetonka. Some HOFer named Ray Lewis, too.

They're not going to ban him for paying for sex. They're going to ban him for engaging in non-consensual sexual assault, rape, whatever you want to call it.

These cases are about to either be dismissed or settled quickly. He'll be suspended for 6-8 games and then everything will be back to normal for him. Some of you guys are very naive about how this all works and what is actually happening.

There were no criminal reports, no rape kits, no physical evidence...You think a jury is going to look favorably upon the lady who went public this week when the defense shows the emails demanding $100k in February and her IG account with 3k followers for her "massage therapy"? Or how about the third Jane Doe who said she was so upset she blacked out and defecated herself, but the defense has evidence that she and her "business manager" tried to shake him down for $30k while admitting that everything was consensual?

It will be a "he said, 22 accusers" said situation. The odds don't favor Watson, no matter how good his lawyer is. Once the defense realized that Watson couldn't deny meeting all of these women because of the text messages, now his lawyer is claiming they were all consensual sexual occurrences. Your boy is looking pretty deep in it now.

"He said, she said" won't hold up in court of law, which is why Buzbee turned the whole thing into a three ring media circus to try to shame Watson into settling. Now that Hardin is getting the names, you can bet Buzbee will be changing his tone here. Very, very unlikely that HPD will bring any charges, so how exactly is he going to be convicted of assaulting anyone again?
