I will say there's been a lot of people talking about Watson and the Niners. Schrager, Albert Breer, Mortensen, Michael Vick(who talks to Deshaun), and Joe Thomas.

It might just be those guys filling up the news cycle but I'm hoping there's something there.

Add Shannon sharpe to that list. He speaks as if he talks with Watson often. He has been Watson to the Niners for a while now.

That's the mindset I'm in. I think a good amount of star offensive players would want to come here just cause of Kyle alone. I'm not hoping for Watson, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.

I will forgive Shanny if he never wins a Super Bowl if I get to use Watson in madden.

I fully believe we will be in the mix. Contrary to what people think Lynch and kyle will go aggressively after a player. Im sure that if the raiders weren't petty Mack would've been a niner. Im okay with giving up picks and jimmy, but if it comes to giving up bosa, Warner, or kittle I refuse to think that lynch and Kyle will consider.

Man, I feel like I am seeing myself up for complete disappointment, but Watson HAS to be option 1 for the Niners. I'd go to Houston and be like, "2 1sts ('21 & '22), 2 2nds ('21 & '22), and Kinlaw." If that doesn't do it, then option 2 is figure out how to trade up to get the top QB you want in this draft.

I remember that Shanahan (or maybe Lynch) had said previously that you're always looking to get better. Rarely do you have an opportunity to trade for a player like Watson that is ONLY 25 years old!

If Watson gets traded to another team, there better be something that comes out to show which teams offered what and the Niners better be in that group.

I would give up a bunch of draft picks. Even 6 or 7 but I would do everything possible to avoid having to give up players in the deal. The point of getting Watson is to make us not just contenders but SB favorites, to put us over the top and for many years to come. Not get him and take weapons away from him, Whether defense or offense.

I like Jimmy G but I would trade the same amount of draft picks for Watson that Rams paid... IF we had a good offensive line. I think upgrading our OL is priority and will benefit any QB we end up in 2021. Good enough to reach the playoffs if we are healthy.

I personally blame the OL for our offensive struggles. Our QBs are all injured / highly hit throughout the season, without a oline to protect our QB it doesn't matter who we have. They will end up in IR.

I'd give up a lot for Watson....but that doesn't include Bosa, Kittle, Aiyuk, Deebo, Greenlaw or Warner.

It's not worth it to lose any of those guys on top of the minimum 2, probably 3 first rounders it would take to do it.

I agree and Shannon Sharpe even said that is something Watson wants. The team he goes to will keep its core players.
