Mac Jones-QB-49ers

He seems like a perfect fit for the offense. I'm not in love with him but I'd be ok

Kyle wants a QB that can run the offense efficiently and not turn the ball over which seems like Mac Jones.
Mac is going to eat in this offense if they draft him. Kyle sets the table for his QB. He just needs someone to execute. Mac won't miss those wide open throws. His field vision is too good.
Hey, CJ Beathard. You see this? This is called stepping up into the pocket after hitting the top of your drop. That's also a little intangible thing called feeling pressure.

so what's his deal?

If he's a franchise type QB why isn't he going top 10 in mocks

There's already about 4 QB's going in the Top 15 picks in most mocks. All of those guys are likely to go before Mac Jones because he isn't seen as having the same sort of upside or elite arm talent.

Yeah, his arm talent seems underrated. People be thinking it's mobile qb or bust, but that's not the only way to succeed in the NFL contrary to popular belief.

I'm a huge fan of Jimmy G but if Jimmy is throwing that ball, the receiver has to stop his momentum and come back for the ball.

That lesson can be for all of our QBs, they all suck at working the pocket and feeling pressure

Name the last great Alabama QB to translate to the NFL. Hurts is too soon. There have been some good ones. Ken Stabler, Joe Namath, and Bart Starr. I mean, granted, those dudes were pretty darn good. Is Mac Jones the next to join this list?

None of the other past Alabama QBs has any bearing on Jones success or lack thereof

Could not agree more you have to evaluate the player. By that logic Patrick Mahomes would have been a bust because no air raid QB from Texas Tech ever amounted to much in the NFL.
