This was obvious to some of us from the start. Cant believe how many people were gassing him up in this thread for months.

7th rd pick, probably makes the PS. Won't be shocked if he's on the active roster at some pt this yr.

Very true. Just like people get psyched up on guys with speed, they do the same thing with big guys. If he's big and fast he'll be in the HOF before he takes a snap. I understand enthusiasm but fans need to wait until these guys actually show they can play in a REAL game. Especially these late round picks. Scouts aren't always right but there is usually a reason a player lasts until the 6th or 7th round. For every gem there are countless lumps of coal.

Yup. I said Henry Ruggs was not the best WR in the draft by any means... and now I'm hearing another rookie in Bryan Edwards is the #1 for Vegas,

I missed on this one,...but it could be a great sign if our roster is just that stacked.
Not sure it's that we're stacked. Sounds like it's more that he failed to impress at all. Would've been a crime to give him a roster spot.

Hope he makes the practice squad and develops, in the meantime I hope they sign some promising edge rushers to the practice squad. I was hoping they would trade BeatHard, but with the plague, its too risky.Originally posted by GhostOfBaalke:Originally posted by random49er:Originally posted by sacniner:Damn, this is disappointing but not that surprising. Yeah I had hoped he'd either make the 53 or PS. Would be nice to have one big receiver stick since Hurd is IR and Poindexter cut

I liked this guy a lot and was definitely rooting for him to make the team. Hopefully he can be molded into shape on the PS.
I get the comparisons to Boldin, but remember... when you're a little lacking in measurables, it helps to possess some of the best hands of your generation.

Sounds like another receiver on the team that hasn't taken a snap in an NFL game.

No he doesn't...dude is similar to Sanu skill-set wise.
He's just a 7th rd rookie who needs to learn to play in the NFL, he's gotta work on his craft. He will be on the PS.
