Anyone kind of see a little Anquan Boldin in Jennings? You don't see too many WR's who play with this much attitude and passion. He literally looks like he's trying to do harm to defenders out there both blocking and after the catch.

He's going to need to contain some of that aggression or he'll be wracking up fines quickly. Just needs to make sure he saves it for when he has the ball in his hands.

Lol good luck making the team running a 4.7

Running a 4.7 40 is exactly why Jarvis Landry and Anquan Boldin never amounted to anything in the NFL.

Sus has been off his game this whole draft.

True statement.

I guess we'll find out!! Looking forward to seeing how he does. I see a lil brandon marshall in him.

Kyle will scheme him open in the slot. He's not gonna play on the outside.

Well at least we got a big WR. Him and Hurd can battle it out in camp. If they both prove to be very good, that is a good problem to have

And he will do this in the run game

I love the type of physical players the niners have been bringing in the last couple of years. Call me old fashioned but this is just throwback old school football here.

Yup and they still got burners as well

I think he is a niche player in the red zone. I'll predict practice squad insurance in case Hurd's back doesn't hold up.

I think (don't quote me) it's so low because the S comes first and if the test is heavily measured by speed....well this dude is slower than Sherman who is as slow as an Olineman
Mohammed Sanu ran a 4.67, and Kyle had him flying around the field in that big slot role. I bet he saw Sanu-type potential in Jennings.

Every article about him says he is slow with a 40 time of 4.72. Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this but a 4.5 time is considered fast, is a quarter of a second in 40 yards really that big of a difference? For a guy that is 6'3" that seems pretty fast to me.

Here is an interesting note... Do you all know what Anquan Boldin's 40 time was coming out of college? Well, it was 4.73. Methinks he turned out pretty well.

I think that pure speed is often overrated in the NFL.. Many veteran receivers, LBs, and CBs lose straight line speed over the course of their playing careers due to being banged up but they make up for it with smarts, film study, and instincts (Richard Sherman is a great example).

It does seem like Jennings is pretty raw though so he will need to work on his game (and he appears to have a good attitude and work ethic) so...at the very least, he is an interesting prospect.

Cheers!

Flying around maybe he was getting schemed open a lot. but he wasn't hard to get tackled from behind (DBs caught up to him)
