Changes coming to regular season and playoffs

NFL playoff structure is about to be changed. Under the current CBA proposal, seven teams from each conference will make the playoffs, with only bye per conference, sources tell ESPN. It would go into effect this upcoming season. More coming on https://t.co/rDZaVFhcDQ.

I don't know why they just don't expand to 18 games. 17 games your going to have only half the league getting an extra home game.

yeah 2 preseason games is enough. How does 17 games even work out? How does 7 playoff teams even work out?

Only one team per conference gets a bye week so the other 6 play. Then next week of the playoffs there are 4 teams

Damn, that means the best teams won't always make the super bowl. The #1 seed will be a huge advantage.

Very true. Of course....they change it up right when the Niners are becoming yearly contenders. Let's go falcons panthers and Tb. Just make sure we get the #1 seed every year

Lol, just what i was thinking. That #1 seed is going to be hard to get and if you have a 2 game lead or so the final weeks, teams will just glide and not risk anything.
