Maybe Brady gets extended another year or two, but the outcome won't be good. Remember when Jimmy Johnson took over in Miami? He wanted to trade Dan Marino and go for another Herschel Walker style trade to rebuild the Dolphins. If he did that, the fans would have killed him. Unfortunately for Dan, his final game in the playoffs against the Jaguars was one of the worst performances in history, as the Dolphins lost 62 - 7. I don't think Kraft or Belichick wants to go down as the scapegoat as to who is responsible for letting their beloved go.
