I think it's safe to say Wish shut everyone up after that hit.

4th rounders sometimes do that.

I don't get too excited over kickers/punters but that was pretty badass.

4th rounder hah! Should have taken him in the 2nd. Now we have a spare safety and OL. Lynch just needs to go get a backup punter/kicker.
I bet Hightower gets mad at him for making that tackle.

all i know is, I love old school names like his and I'd get his jersey. Quite frankly. I would get just kicker jerseys.. they score all/most of the points and retire in that category high on the list.
plus, i'm 6'1", 176 . i dont like wearing a jersey with 79, 98 on it lol

So tired of the punter doing this. There isnt one logical reason why the punter should be doing this over the backup QB.
The QB needs practice time for QB reps, and rarely do teams dress 3 QBs on game day.
If the kick is muffed and picked up by the opposition at least Wishnowsky will be around to tackle the runner with the ball. He will flatten them no trouble at all. Look at the size of him.
Ha I told you this guy could tackle and flatten people last week. In Aussie football offence and defence are not so specialised as in NFL. You have to be able to do a bit of everything.
He also doesn't whinge about tweeking a hamstring or breaking fingernail or getting a sore ankle.
We could put him on edge rushing duties next time Bosa brings out his big handbag. If asked Wishnowsky would say, "Sure no worries. I will give it a crack"

Where are all the dudes having a whinge about being picked in the 4th round? They seem all silent now.
Sometimes you need to think outside the square. Props to Shanahan and Lynch on taking this well calculated risk.

I agree we could've drafted a back up in the fourth round most likely but instead we have an awesome starter that could be a pro bowler. Hmmmmm Let's think about that. Hard decision

He probably won't be doing a lot more of that. Id bet Shanahan tells him "nice hit, dont ever pull that crap again unless you're saving a TD."
There just no reason to have your punter out there risking injury tackling guys. If he gets hurt were stuck with some random punter off the street.

Aussies don't get hurt. They suck it up and keep playing.

Well, that is basically what most people
wanted anyway.
"get a punter in 7th or udfa" was the general wailing after Mitch was drafted in 4th.
