It doesn't change the NFC Championshp game, but changes have been made: All offensive and defensive pass interference calls, as well as non-calls, now be challenged, per league source.

How long into the season until this scenario happens: receiver gets obstructed right before ball leaves QB's hands, and no flag is thrown. Coach throws challenge flag, ref reviews and determines it's holding and not DPI and therefore not reviewable and no penalty.

The new rule was passed by an overwhelming majority (31/1), with the lone opposing vote being cast by the
Cinncinati Bengals.

Geese man. This is getting a tad silly. I see it as both a positive and a negative but fk man they still can't get reviews correct even with replays. Just slows the fkn game down more. Granted the Saints could've used this rule. I fear you will see more deep passes to draw the PI and if not called , challenge. 🤔

I hope they can rule passes uncatchable with this rule change. Or that if they see the receiver push off they can call offensive PI even if it was the team that threw the challenge flag.

Goodell has enough time from now until kickoff...how refs will be able to tweak and still rig the game.

they already know who they want in the SB and who will win
