Games already run 3.5 hours....if they reviewed everything we would be looking at 5+ hour games.

Why do so many people keep saying this about extending the game? It is beginning to get maddening!
The NFL is not adding challenges, which would result in more timeouts. They are simply allowing MORE things to be challenged by coaches. They still have the same amount of challenges a game. The refs reviewing a couple more plays (if that) inside of 2 minutes will not change the length of the game.

Because as it is most games go without a challenge. Now each side will use all they have every game, clearly slowing down the game. It seems pretty self-evident.....
At the halfway point last year, all but 1 team had used less than 5 challenges, 3 teams had used 4 (inc Kyle) and 7 teams had used only 1. I'd expect those numbers to be VERY different at the halfway point in the 19 season under this new rule.
