Was Kwon seen as an issue on defense; as this simply a cap off-loading thing; or was this for help with our anemic pass rush? Personally I didn't see Kwon as a problem on defense. In fact he's much better than Kiko Alonso (who ran a 4.74 40) as a pass defender. So I see this as pass-rush help and cap off-loading, because I simply don't see how Kiko helps us otherwise.

Making cap space for next year, Kiko will just be a bench warmer.

just a cap move.. not worth the deep analysis on players that don't play

Dre greenlaw beat out kwon. Kwon was way too expensive.

Al shaair showed whst he can do, so the niners got kiko as a stop gap.

Nothing to pack in...he was expendable with Dre. Got a depth LBer and a 5th plus will save cash in 2021.

Plus Kwon gets to go back to the dirty south

Wish him well seemed like a good dude. Wasn't a need for that price

Will Kiko even play?
Thanks Kwon for the hard play, it's cool bc the niners will draft an ILB in the late rounds and he'll be a stud on a rookie contract.

Of course we are packing it in. Did you not see the ass whooping from last night. Christ.

I'll bet even Lynch threw his hands up in the air a couple of times

That would be awesome. I wonder what our cap looks like with those two things happening and if we cut or trade Jimmy.
