see, thats the thing... no one can tell you who we replace him with. and does that person do just as much or more than deebo.

Teams count on contracts and the lengths of them.
Now if everyone like Deebo would turn into Divas after 3 Seasons, how should Teams like the 49ers take advantage of those rookie contracts to build championship rosters?
He should just do his job, i dont think teams could, if those players do not follow THEIR expectations, carry themselves like infants and dont fulfill the contracts.

Ever seen Moneyball we don't replace him with one guy we replace him with three guys so we replace him in the aggregate. The guys are David Justice, Jeremy Giambi and Andy Dwyer. This will result in 20 straight Ws.

Fair enough. Then what are we trading him for? Or will we simply let him walk when his rookie deal is up? And when he's gone how are we replacing his production?

trading him for glorious draft picks! In a meh draft with a underwhelming WR class....hoping that maybe we can end up with you know... Deebo Samuel in a couple years just so we can trade him when he's finally good...and that's the best case scenario

correct.
its not our money. No idea why people care so much.
and no it doesnt affect the teams ability to sign other players per se. these new contracts have so much noise in them.

I agree we cant sign deebo for 30. Wed have to pay bosa 45. But, we need at least 2 medium to low 1sts for him. Or agree in the low 20s. Either way. Hes just going to be a receiver any where else.

Yeah but we can find that on day 3 of the draft...totally replaceable
Are posters really suggesting that we can find another Deebo in the 3rd day of he draft? Wow lol
