Can Kyle not game plan around him ? If the answer to all of those questions is YES, then I'm ok with replacing JJ with Deebo for a team friendly contract.

WR1 - Evans
WR2 - Ricky
WR3 - Deebo
WR4 - Robinson

Cowing and Watkins rotating through.

that might just work…

when the team was gameplanning around Deebo he was an all pro and we had Jimmy as Qb who was a bit limited. he was a mismatch nightmare here . He is still a good WR his time in Washington kinda showed that he put decent numbers with a bad QB.

Him coming here would still upgrade the WR corpse and he can play slot

One stipulation he has to wear 19.

It certainly was a corpse last year

19 problemz would be nice, no more of that #1 ego
Too old and slow to bring back into kyles system. We require the wrs to fully run every route.

He would be better on a team that would give him 1-3 targets a game that he could be explosive on those targets and conserve his energy the rest of the game.

Our system doesn't fit that...

His best years were in our system...he was also a 4.4 guy coming out of college and just turned 30. I agree he can't run the route tree but that's never been his game, he's a force multiplier who can run Kyle's gadget plays better than any guy we've had during his tenure as HC here. I wouldn't low ball him but I also wouldn't pay him more than the 10 million a year he's probably worth.

I think more than what he did on the field he pumped guys up coming out of the tunnel alone with T Williams and on D Greenlaw set the tone. I can take a few personal fouls for hard hits from him

He'd be a great #4 WR where we'd leverage him as a RB and in the return game. But I think his time has passed to re-join the 49ers.
I love Sherm but just can't get with him on this one. He thinks we need to bring Deebo back too. Of course, he didn't think he was washed himself when he absolutely was. He's letting his emotion do all the talking, not his head.

Deebo would be a good pick up.
Deebo runs too lazy as a WR decoy (plays where he likely won't get the ball). He doesn't run strong and through people anymore, either, making "business decisions" and not imposing on the defense. Y'all pining for what is no longer there?

Film. He's always been limited as a route runner and that's putting it lightly.

Right! Simple observation of his play before he asked to be traded from our 49ers, videos of others detailing All-22 footage. None of what I said has been a secret. He got up against the Eagles back then, but kinda lackadaisical otherwise, in my opinion (and at least some others as well).

Yeah you can just see it. He's pretty good when he puts his all in but he's that homie that gets the job done and tries when there are incentives
