Maybe. But I don't think they think of it that way. They continued the infatuation with DL with Thomas and Bosa. They only care about production, not historical picks. And we are in need of long term solutions at WR.

Sanders may return, but he is not a long term fix.

If we're drafting as late as we are (hopefully) I think it will be a BPA approach. If it's WR, I'm all for it. Gotta think about FA as well. IF Ward leaves we need a FS (moore isn't the answer IMO). Someone like Xavier McKinney would be killer.

Fantasy playoffs start this week and I'm starting Deebo! C'mon man!

Good post!

We could sure have used Hurd last week and for sure for the rest of the season.
Almost every time we get inside the 5, I think about the fade to Hurd from that preseason game.

I would be good with a WR. But I gotta say, watching these last few games I'm slowly starting to lean towards LT. With Hurd coming back next season I can see us pass up on a WR at the bottom of the 1st. I honestly see Deebo as a dangerous #1 next year, and if Hurd can come back to the regular season and look like he looked in this years preseason I see those two as book-end WR's for us for some time.
We finally found a star young WR. It only took us about a decade give a take of many wasted picks to land 1. But I'm glad to have him. He looks to have a very bright future. He is so aggressive and physical and fights for the ball. Plus his speed is pretty good for a stocky guy at WR.
Continues to be a beast!
Deeeeebo
Not fumbling, excellent route running and very good blocking!

Superb draft pick.

Future WR1
This guy has elite ability written all over him. Anytime he gets the ball it seems like he's ready to rip off a massive play
I'm sure someone mentioned it already. Great game but two plays he should've stayed in bounds towards the end

While you're both right, it was a blessing in the long run. Luckily for us Breeze scored too quickly.

Dude was helping Bourne lineup properly right before the 4th down timeout. I don't think on field awareness will be an issue with him.
