man you act really dense in every convo and you prove my point in saying.. just because another team would sign both to huge contract.. it's only bad if we did it
Deebo is going to ball out in Washington.

He will fit their scheme perfectly, all pro level quarterback who can throw the ball vertically. They are also getting a very motivated Deebo.

I almost see no way he could fail with that team. Adam Peters knows what he is doing.

Are they getting a very motivated Deebo though?

Time will tell but I wouldn't bet on it.

He's a lazy SLUG.

We've all seen what a motivated Deebo could do. This is how he earned that huge contract with us and became a household name in the league.

In theory Deebo is a perfect fit for their offense. Teams are going to play a lot of zone against Washington due to the threat of Daniels popping off and running. If Deebo can stay healthy and regain some of that tackle breaking style he specializes in, he should be productive. That's me projecting his skillset and fit with the team. I have idea what he has left in the tank physically.

This is how I was thinking as well, couple that with the motivation that usually comes when a player enters a new environment and feels like they have to prove to themselves as well as everyone around them that they belong.

Rather than the stale environment in which every year looks like last year.

Aiyuk was a good pick, Pearsall looks promising. McGlinchey was pretty solid for the 9ers.
I'm being sarcastic. That said, McGlinchey should be considered a bust. If you pick an OT, hell any OL truthfully, inside the top 10, they should be an anchor on the line for the next decade to decade & a half. Not someone who doesn't receive a second contract from the team that drafted them. Case in point, there wasn't a drop off from McGlinchey to McKivitz.

McGlinchey was such a rough pick. Almost in shock when Sims ran his mouth and leaked it before the draft. Not just in hindsight. So many of us were clamoring for Derwin James.

McGlinchey was a horrible pick. Huge bust similar to Kinlaw when you look at where he was picked.

Deebo will be the third option in Washington. He has never been a consistent deep threat. McLaurin is the deep threat. Dyami Brown is the #2 guy. He came on very strong in the second half of last year. That leaves Deebo for underneath stuff where his YAC potential can be utilized. He will also see a lot of screens. Washington did a lot of that last season - top five in the league, IIRC. Adam Peters got a solid #3 option for a 5th round pick. That is good for Washington, but it is no diamond in the rough. It will be up to Deebo to get back into effective game condition and prove himself in an offense that was already very good last season.

Deebo may have a good season next year, but if he is seeking a lot more touches, he may be disappointed. I hope he does well, but I'm neither upset nor pleased he is gone.

Thank you for the memories.

9th overall pick?

What should that player be in the NFL? MM was a huge bust.

Was a superstar? No. But he was a solid starter from day one that's not a huge bust. Just a bad take

Starter that got tossed all over the place. DE's ran threw him like he was a piece of paper.

Straight top ten bust.
