Deebo Samuel-WR-South Carolina

He might excel in DC since they have a RPO QB and play cold weather football. I thought DC is perfect spot for him since Jayden is still on a QB contract and their Kingsbury is familiar with Deebo.

Glad the saga is over and didn't appreciate his social media shenanigans.

lol what did you expect to get after his performance this last year? Teams don't give a f**k about 2021 and what do you mean could've used him better? Kyle didn't forget how to use Deebo all of a sudden, he gave him so many chances to the demise of the offense to get him going. He just didn't have the explosion from years prior, he'll have a stretch here and there but nothing for what he's worth.

This move leads me to believe that another player with a big contract will be cut and designated post June 1.
Pretty sure you can only designate two transactions as post June 1. Hargraves is one, who will be the other?

Deebo was very good in 23. What he meant by using him better was making him a part of a trade package (as he described) vs jettisoning him alone for a 5th.

Do we know what year the fifth is in? If it's this year - that's kind of surprising. I thought we would do a post June 1 trade because of the cap but I guess they're going to just eat it to clear up space next year? At least I think that was the situation.

I just saw an update that it looks like commies are going to take over a lot of the salary? That's good

Yup anyone thinking he was worth a 3rd is delusional.

Aiyuk
That Kid Rick
3rd and Jauan

And we are still developing Cowing. And we still have George freaking Kittle at TE.

We don't need to look to invest a first or second round pick at the WR spot this year.

He would have helped, but he's older now and the thought of that salary probably gave them reason for pause.
