We are not gonna sign earl Thomas because the niners are some cheap basterds . They are cheap as hell . Lynch is the problem .

I don't. We've lost a lot of games by a slim margin the last few years. Having a playmaking defender like ET could have swung more than a few of those games in our favor. He had more interceptions in 4 games than our entire team had last year.

I don't either and it's not even debatable in my opinion. We lost a lot of games by such a small margin he would've been the difference not to mention we get Jimmy G back and McKinnon. Good times now get this damn edge rusher and safety and let's go to work

LOL- at everyone calling out Lynch for being cheap. If he was cheap, he wouldn't have paid $21M for a fullback (Juice) or $30M for a rotational running back (McKinnon). If he was cheap then we wouldn't have just paid $54M to LB (Kwon) coming off of an ACL injury.
This doesn't have anything about being cheap. There could be numerous factors that are playing out.

Thomas wants to be the highest paid safety. Right now that is Landon Collins and Honey Badger at $14M. Given there are no other FS that are even close to Thomas or those other two, it is unlikely ET will get anything more than that. So, you wait a few days to let things settle a bit. They may already have an agreement in place to pay him $14.5M unless someone exceeds that. If they do, bump the offer. No reason to jump prematurely.
