I'm very impressed with McGlinchey and how quickly he's developing. Plus his toughness and attitude. The kid just has a few things to work on but the sky's the limit!

You watch him play and its pretty obvious that he's already one of the best run blocking tackles in the league. You look at some of the huge run plays they've had this season and McGlinchey is often involved, manhandling his guy and then looking for more work down the field. He's been even better than I expected in that regard. Its not a shock that the run game to the right has been so effective this season after being a liability last year.

+1. I'm seeing this clear as day when I watch the offense. Breida's had some of his best runs to McGlinchey's side. Also, his pass blocking has been better than expected at this point IMO...and, will only get better.

Among RTs around the league, only Havenstein, Ramzcyk and Moton rank higher than him overall. In terms of run blocking, he is #1.

One is continuing on at about the same level while the other is on a big upswing.
MM is proving to be the awesome run blocker he was in college. At the same time, he has brought his season-long PP grade up 10 points in the past two weeks. AND, he will be a TON cheaper next season than Brown would have been...had we kept him.
Ok. Fine but trent was fine player. We could have used the pick on another position.
They did...somewhat lol. They used their 1st on a OT that is just as good, younger, cheaper and fits this scheme and then used the 3rd they got from NE on a promising CB.

I hated the pick and bashed the kid over his performance in training camp and offseason, but I have to admit that he has done a nice job so far. I hope he keeps it up.

Revisionist? He's lucky he's playing and always gets hurt. It's not like the defense improved much after he came back either. Why no comment on Thomas tho? Oh because he does suck lol

I agree with you on Thomas. Unless we're using him improperly, which wouldn't surprise me.
You said Thomas AND Foster, though. So you're responsible for explaining why BOTH are busts, not just one.
