And another trade for Browns: Packers have informed CB Damarious Randall that he is being traded to Cleveland (like everybody else), per source.

I think Buffalo targets the Raiders pick.

I do not understand this move at all. I'm okay with the Browns trading for Landry, because they have so much cap space they can give him some big money and be okay. But Taylor? I don't understand giving up a high round round pick for someone like him. This is not a good move imo.

I can see the whole bridge qb for your top 5 pick rookie qb thing. But not for that price

Seems like there are a lot of decent stopgap QB options in FA anyway.

Tyrod is a much better QB than most give him credit for being.

Taylor to me is the poster child for "one read and go". QBs like that put up good rate stats, because they are conservative and don't make difficult throws. If his read isn't open, he just runs out of the pocket for a small gain. His numbers are extremely comparable to Kaepernick's 2016 numbers, another guy who I think typifies the "hollow numbers" thing. What you're left with are numbers that are good but an offense that isn't very effective.

I mean, the Bills were in the hunt for a playoff spot and Taylor got benched in November. If not for a meltdown of epic proportions by Nathan Peterman (5 INTs), he probably doesn't even get his job back.
I don't like him at all.

Right now he's the best QB on the roster. He doesn't make mistakes and is nimble in the pocket. The team won't collapse if the future #1 QB goes down. He will probably have a long lucrative career as a backup.

Im cool with all the Browns moves. They have the number 1 overall and the number 4 and a boatload of money as well.A 3rd rounder for a qb who is productive is not bad when you have nothing. They can easily flip one of those two 1sts and get a 3rd back easily or stay put.Either way they made there team better on paper and as a fan(and im not of fan of theirs) thats all you can ask for... effort.People forget the Terry Donahue days I guess lol

Not really. Gordon, Landry plus potentially Barkley. That offense could be pretty decent next season.
Browns new front office is handling their business thus far.

The Bills chances of landing the QB they want are better trading w/Niners, not the Raiders. Taylor's trade to the Browns could work out well for us.

Bills can get up to 2 or 3 and get the guy they want not the guy nobody else wanted.
They had RG3, Kizer, and now Tyrod
