I cant be the only one scratchin their head about dude not starting and only playin ST's in the SB? After starting every game for the last 3 yrs since pickin off R. Wilson? I thought he was their best CB? They showed him visibly upset prior to the game and rightfully so. Bill said it was "match-ups"? This reminds me of when Bill went for it on 4th down against the Colts in their territory in that playoff game and it cost em big. Malcolms' replacement didnt do too well either, gave up a big td against A. Jeffery. I also believe his contract is up, Id take em here if thats the case.

I wasn't dissing Butler. He did get a raw deal, but I'm pretty sure he's pretty butt hurt.

BL for me is Butler's one of 4 CB's in FA that would be worth signing. The others are Kyle Fuller, Trumaine Johnson & Beshaud Breeland.

I don't buy the story that is was about weed or something like that.

If you get caught with weed or violate curfew, you don't dress for the game. You don't even stand on the sideline.

This is just Bill being a hard nose about something. It is very hard to say Eric Rose was the better player. He got toasted.

This is the guy that intercepted Wilson in the end zone a few years ago.

He played the most snaps of any patriots defensive player this year.

Unfortunately he did have a down year, but he certainly has bounce back talent.

49ers can ask Jimmy how good he is, they played together
