Damn, starting qb of a team that lacks talent... but 4-2 and in first place. Holy s**t.

There are articles written from East Coast writers who are asking if Alex is holding the team back already, or something of that nature. So its not just people in this thread. 4-2 and people are asking if Alex is the guy for this team and if the team needs to start worrying about him.
So you're telling me that people have different opinions and/or that writers write things to stir the pot (See, e.g., our own Tim K and the Cohn Boys)?

Do you really think that the Cohn Boys or Tim K dont 100% believe what comes out of their mouths?

I believe half the crap they write is done 100% because they know the hate will generate a ton of clicks.

This. Furthermore, you know what they say about opinions: Everyone, including "sports writers," has one.

We know what Smith does and does not bring to the table. If one wants to take the position that the Redskins are succeeding (used loosely) despite Smith and in no way because of him, its all good. That's not a new position for some. #wizard #luckiestqbever.
Looks like he is playing to his averages in KC and winning games like he did there as well. Rough break for him again as he didn't get another year with that amazing offensive talent in KC.

I disagree. They write the stuff they do because it generates clicks and gets their names out there. They're annoying AF, but they're smart. It's what got skip bayless where he is today.

Hes a damn good d line coach. Should have stayed in that role for us and not get an unwarranted promotion

Maybe should have gone up step by step, and tried his hand at DC first.
It is the teams job to win but they also need to entertain. Adding Kap would be for a much more entertaining season. Would be a great overall business strategy considering the time that has now passed and that Trump's divisively ignorant comments do not necessarily affect the west coast.

I also like the idea of creating a possible competition instead of handing jobs to all of Kyle's players. Cohn is correct in that it seems like there hasn't really been competition at positions. Seems more like players are being forced in and are only replaced until it becomes embarrassing.
