A little confused here with how we got Jimmy then after reading this story. This report states the hoodie reached out to Kyle to trade Jimmy. Initial reports stated Lynch reached out to the hoodie for Jimmy, the hoodie declined, and Lynch called the hoodie back and jokingly asked for Brady in a trade. Am I missing something? Which trade story is correct?

The Lynch call happened before the season. BB's call to Kyle happened right before the trade deadline.

It will
i think the reports are true but I think they are all swallowing their pride until after this season. This offseason will determine if the friction is true.
Heres to hoping that Belichick thinks he has been wronged and is in the process of burning that place down on the way out.

I hope he holds off on retiring until after all his coordinators have found other jobs.

Anyone who experienced the show that was montana v young back in the day knows that at least some of this stuff is probably true. It was bound to happen.

Yup I think he's trying to screw Kraft and Brady let Patricia and McDaniels leave then have him retire

It's possible. He has always taken the stance that as soon as the owner steps in for football decision making, he would be done.

I'm really interested to see the tales of Patriots fans. This is similar to Montana and Young, except the owner forced the trade of the younger player.

If the reports are true, he has been wronged and I have a hard time seeing him and Brady paired up beyond this season. Winning has a way of healing some wounds, but it sounds like a power struggle that is unsustainable.

I can't think of any stronger personalities in football. Brady is already pissed that war has been declared on his trainer/friend/godfather to one of his kids. The hoodie had to deal his QB of the future for the guy who has the owners ear. This is gonna be a straight war. If I were Kraft I would be afraid. Very afraid.
And in the Garoppolo thread people are saying Garoppolo is here on a 2 year rental and he will be going back to NE immediately afterwards. Nobody says why!
If, in fact, Bill splits and the other coaches get jobs elsewhere and Brady is the last man standing- it will be very interesting to see how he handles a "rebuild". Which young coach in their right mind would want to go try to rebuild an organization with Tom Brady in his last year or two? Can you imagine going in as a new head coach and trying to implement a new system and teaching a 41 year old Brady? Who has the authority in that building, knowing Kraft clearly favors Brady?

At first I thought McDaniel's would be a natural successor to Bill and, with Jimmy G, he may have accepted if Bill left. But from what i'm interpreting it sounds like he cant stand Tom, and who would want to work for Kraft after all this mess?

I'm just ready to see how all these Pat "fans" react when they face a dose of mediocrity. I've already seen so much brand new 49er gear that it's sick, but they'll be selling a lot more of it once they have to jump off of that sinking ship and onto the Niners wagon
The Pats probably downplay this whole thing because they are amid a SB run, but in the offseason, I think we will hear more full blown.
