Jimmy has been playing very well. Props to him for playing his style while also sprinkling in some playmaking ability. As long as pass pro holds up, he seems comfortable going through his reads and finding the check down if nothing is open downfield. 49ers converting 3rd downs at a very good clip and Jimmy is playing a large role in that.

If TL is starting. Open question imo.
He's more than likely the starter in 2023.
This is nothing more than your speculation.
I don't assume JG leaving means TL is starting
Lol no he isn't. We don't have a roster yet for the 2023 team, let alone a depth chart. Last offseason taught me not to be so cavalier with knowing what the team will do at QB. I thought they would move on from JG I was wrong 100%.

Jimmy 2200 yards, 15 tds, 4 ints 67%
Brissett. 2400 yards, 11 tds, 5 ints 64%
Carr 2400 yards, 15 tds, 5 ints, 62%
Mariota 1878 yards, 13 tds, 7 ints 62%
Daniel Jones 1937 yards, 9 tds 4 ints 65%
I too think Jimmy has played the best out of all of these players but my point was the QBR and such goes by current stats and not W/L. The fact that you singled out Daniel Jones as playing well is telling. He's the only one with a winning record yet is furthest away from Jimmy's numbers.
My point was QBR isn't as biased as our preconceived rankings.

Josh Allen didn't take the next step until they traded for Diggs. I'm not saying he's an elite or top 5 but I think he's been playing top 10 ball.
i know historically he has made bonehead plays and not taken that "next step" but it kind of seems like has this season with the off script plays. I hope he keeps it up and this isn't a fluke.
its okay to criticize what he doesn't do well/needs to improve on, while also saying he is a solid QB and surprisingly getting better.

I have said as much. Jimmy is having the best season of his career. Then someone tried to push back and say 2019 was just as good. Was his 2019 regular season good? Yes. But because of how Jimmy is protecting the ball, throwing outside the numbers more and ad libbing when the initial play breaks down, he is currently taking his game to new heights.

Who knows maybe Jimmy goes back to NE after your boy McCorkle continues to stink it up…3 pts this week?
Which was same as your boy Zach.
You mean fields….sad. None of them are magical and take time. Shocking people can't accept that's the reality of it 99% of the time.
the Mahomes' of the world aren't the norm of drafting a QB and getting success right off the bat.

69.6 QBR (3rd,NFL)
69% completion rate (5th)
9.02 yards per attempt (1st)
12-4 TD/INT ratio (T-5th)
Staying healthy important for all players but especially one with his history.
It is axiomatic that the teams that do well in the playoffs are the most healthy. It isn't unique to Garoppolo.

Think you're the first one to fill this out.

your speculation is based off nothing but emotion.

Lol I am not speculating. That's my point. I don't assume who will or won't be starting on a team not yet assembled.

Who's saying he's not?
I think the team around him has gotten better, which in turn has helped him as well. CMC as an elite choice route/check down is just what Jimmy needed. PP has improved as well. Jimmy isn't putting the ball in harms way which is on him.
overall the team is gettin in stride, Jimmy is a big part of it.

Stop critizising him when he is playing well and praising him when he is playing poorly.
