Another hot take. This actually makes me more optimistic about this offense under Trey Lance. Off-schedule plays in this offense is lethal. Hopefully Lance will add more of that element next season.

I'll be happy if the guy can just stay healthy long enough to get some experience. He seems prone to injury to this point.

And I would be happy with him to be lethal in ON-schedule plays.

I was saying all offseason Jets make a lot of sense to me cuz Wilson ain't it too much wind he needs a dome to protect from occasional breeze.

Jimmy has been just as efficient as Allen this season. Except Jimmy has a lower INT %. Allen's accumulative stats are higher but only because he has been asked to do more. Dorsey should take a page out of Kyle's formula for success and limit Allen's pass attempts to under 30 and get that damn run game going. They have the RB's to be more ground and pound. So why not?

They don't have the personnel overall. That OL isn't great in Buffalo, never have been imo.

the amount of talent SF has around Jimmy is pretty special.

Excited for Lance next yr…pumped to see a Jimmy keeping the offense rolling this yr

We were told that Joe Flacco was better. The Jets make emotional decisions based on headlines rather than actual evaluation. That's how they ended up with Zach Wilson who had maybe just a little more experience than Trey Lance and didn't really play anyone in college.

I read your pain every time you post.

When Trey is starting my level of petty will be ALL THE WAY UP!

If TL is starting. Open question imo.

Yup I get similar vibes to last year at this time of year. Go back to the TEN game his injury he held the ball for like 10 secs and this was a regular thing KS standing watching JG hold the ball a LOT. This year, it's getting out much quicker. Which means less contact on the QB, more opportunities short in space for our YAC destroyers. No excuse to hold the ball it's gotta be out on someone or away next play.
I think KS has watched enough QBs go down to finally do something about it, focus on the quick game with JG.

MM just talked about this on his last pod…Jimmy gonna get paid and SF has to pay a bunch of other guys.

which is more accurate

Daniel Jones is a top 10 QB or Daniel Jones is the 19th ranked QB
Derek Carr is a top 10 QB or the 16th ranked QB
Jacoby Brisset is a top 10 QB or the 18th ranked QB
Marcus Mariotta is a 11th ranked QB (LOL) or 17th?

Also the idea that Trever Lawrence andy dalton Goff and the other QBs above are ranked above Jimmy and even Cousins (who imo hasn't played amazingly but definitely well) is laughable it throws out the stat completely

they really need to rework that formula

The problem IMO is people like to use life time achievements and/or preconceived rankings as to where someone should be. When in fact these ratings, while not perfect, are based on current play/statistics.

dude you are dreaming if you think those QBs are playing well this season the only one i would argue is Daniel Jones has played well Brisset has played decent but no where close to what Jimmy has played

What are you talking about? Nothing I said was wrong.

Who knows maybe Jimmy goes back to NE after your boy McCorkle continues to stink it up…3 pts this week?

He's more than likely the starter in 2023.
