Man we killed NE with this trade... I really wonder if there is a verbal agreement for a pro NE trade in the future between Lynch and NE? Would not be the least bit surprised if there is a draft day trade between us and NE.

Isn't it a bit early to say something like this?

I don't believe so, in his first action he threw a TD which we couldn't do against Seattle for years. He instantly made the O-line look better in his 1st start due to his quick reads and getting the ball out. He hasn't even been given an offseason to learn the offense and he's running it well enough to win both his starts, his floor is pretty high and his ceiling is up there with the top passers.... for a 2nd rounder

The Browns would have easily offered a 1st and 2nd for him, but NE did him right and sent him our way.... I just wonder if there is an unwritten agreement for more if he succeeded is all? I think to keep good standing Lynch will throw a favorable deal to NE, we'll see

Jimmy G showing why this isn't rocket science. It's a damn NFL offense, not that difficult to learn since it is all memorization and key reads.

Yes, but most guys can't do it within 2.5 seconds with a monster rusher coming at them. Lucid on the whiteboard, stupid and s**tless behind the line.

That's because they don't trust the design and their key read. Those are the ones who have to see it open first.

You're right, it isn't rocket science. There are far more rocket scientists than starting caliber NFL quarterbacks.

But......

when Gisele starts says JG's name in her sleep, it's time to get JG the hell out or you will see TB whine like nothing you've ever seen
Whine to the refs is one HOF move Jimmy couldn't learned from Brady if he'd tried.
Will Levis be packed for Jimmys first game? I hope its not half empty and leaves a bad impression on him and the fanbase
haven't you heard? Tickets are always sold out

One thing I'm hoping is that once Jimmy gets paid and signed to all these endorsement deals, is that his head don't get all swollen. I remember believing Kap was like the most humble person ever, but once he got that money and fame, he turned into some other person I'm still trying to figure out.

Jimmy GQ is going to get a ton of endorsements with those good looks. My hope is that he gets us a couple of super bowls for a 2nd round pick.

I'm still in shock that Bellicheat traded him to us for pretty much pennies (*if* Jimmy gets us a couple of super bowls). I'm with those guys who say ShanaLynch fleeced Bellicheat. I think Bellicheat is getting old. I understand the thinking of why he traded Jimmy to us. There is rumors that he's thinking of not coaching past his 60's. As for Brady, it took "one* hit and Steve's career was over, and Joe deteriorated so slowly that it was hard to see the decline but eventually he did decline and had to retire. I think Bellicheat is confident that Brady can play at least two more years (hence the 2nd round pick from us) and once Brady retires at 45 or something like that, Bellicheat is going to retire too.

He probably got a taste for it already in other games

Have you ever been to a game? The stadium seems packed every time I've been. 2 preseason games and 2 regular season games. Not everyone is in their seats.

Hate to give him ammo but, how is Susweel not a troll? Seems like most of his "opinions" are baseless and clearly intended to stir the pot.

Anyone have a subscription to the athletic? Love to hear this podcast or get some cliff notes
Jimmy GQB gets another victory this week.
A pats fan on twitter asked a friend of mine who does the teams cap like i do online if Garoppolo would get tagged 2 times and be back in NE in like 2020, he said NO, I kinda laughed when I read the fan suggesting Jimmy G would take the tag for 2 years then we'd be in cap hell, and he'd return to the Pats.

Lol I know people would be scratching their heads but as much as I don't want them paying Jimmy, Stafford money what would you think about that?

Stafford money? idk, I see him getting/commanding a good amount, especially with other teams who would want him, so we'd be smart to lock him up with a good, cap friendly and player friendly deal.

Him leaving after 2 yrs, not happening, we're not going to be in cap hell any time soon.
