Now is the time for throwing goofy s**t & seeing what sticks. Maybe he was trying to hit some windows he doesn't normally go after & couldn't work it out.
Not concerned until the games count.

don't give a f about his picks yesterday, he's gonna have a great year if he can avoid injury IMO, and we'll make the playoffs as well

Agree. Some other explanations why there was a 5 pick series. (1.) WR ran the wrong route (2.) Jimmy under pressure and threw blind (i.e. a DLineman came in uncovered) (2.a.) one reson a DLinemen can come uncovered is a bad protection call from the center. (3.) Jimmy called an audible and the WR (or pass catcher didn't hear it, or misheard it). (4.) DB was just lucky (i.e. sh!t happens to QB's too).

Favre threw 6 once... in a playoff game.

Come on. Five picks in a row? You best treat that like a lack of focus.
Read your arm band Jimmy. Be a robot, and block everything else out.

i'm sure one or two weren't "his fault"
the rest were probably bad throws. whatever, he started strong, had a blip, and then finished strong

Camp is the time to experiment with windows, ball speed, and any other thing that might impact a game. JG was most likely testing his accuracy and timing, and maybe seeing if he could fit a ball into a small and very temporary window. I seriously doubt that he will decide to experiment when the games count.

If we were to say an NFL interception rate was 3 percent, then the odds of five in a row would be 41,152,263 to one.

You are comparing games to practice.

I get your point, but in 11 on 11, you are simulating games, and not trying to practice brain farts and carelessness. My point remains. I think Jimmy will be fine, but this learning experience is to bear down, concentrate, and Think. You may differ.
Maybe it';s just me, but I think he has "robot" on his play band for a reason. He will do just fine, if he is focused. When he is not, he is self aware enough to know that's when his performance fails to meet his own expectations.

So, did the webzone decide to cut him yet? Who's going to inform Lynch about that?

...reason #5 - He could be practicing plays he's never ever repped even in practice before, reason #6 Kyle told Saleh the offensive plays to see how his defensive backs handle that play against a guy like Jimmy.
In other words, I'm not really concerned about his interceptions unless that feeds into the pre-season game against Denver.
