Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Los Angeles Rams

People will overreact for preseason plays.While in my opinion, 5 consecutive picks is something to be concerned about, most people on here don't seem to think it's a big deal so i'll cautiously move on. By the way, I'm not one of these jimmy G haters and I want to see him succeed as much as any one. By the way, the next time jimmy G throws 3 consecutive touchdowns in practice, I don't want to hear anyone claiming a super bowl trophy in here, it's only practice.

He was practicing throwing INTs so he can set a season record for the most ever so we would hold both that and the fewest ever by a defense that we set last year. Go Jimmy go.

I'm pretty sure Jimmy has thrown consecutive TDs in redzone drills and nobody used that to proclaim a championship is coming.

As the reports said most of the picks came in the same redzone drills. That's where things tighten up and room for failure is small. Very possible Jimmy is trying to see what he can fit in and to whom.

Picks in training camp aren't always a sign of doom or bad things. Unfortunately with the media now charting every attempt it gets blown way out of proportion.

It's certainly far from ideal but not something to be very concerned about. QBs know in practice while it may not look good it's not going to hurt the team from trying to get a W. In an actual game the decisions are very different.
