I love how the fans on here love Alex Smith, who single-handedly held back the team in 2011 from winning a Super Bowl, going 1-13 on 3rd down (his only conversion being an irrelevant conversion on the last play of regulation) against a bad Giants defense at home, surrounded by studs.
Meanwhile, Jimmy, who played a huge role in turning this franchise around, leading the 2nd best scoring offense in football and having top 10 numbers across the board, is based constantly.
This fan base is outrageous with its support of certain players and condemnation of others.
They love milquetoast, plucked eyebrows wonderboy, the most generic, least charismatic QB to ever play, claiming he's some kind of "good guy" when he was pouting on the sidelines after Kraep led TD drives following his benching, but hate Jimmy. Probably because Jimmy can get any chick he wants while Alex had to stalk his wife to get her number.

Both Jimmy and Alex were average. Most of the fans agree. Stop pulling s**t out of your ass just because you need attention.

I think a lot of people here would take Jimmy over Alex, while preferring neither of them.
