It is a tough call, and I think with Jimmy and Dee off the books we can afford it for now.
The model says that you let guys like this walk, there are always Guards that hit FA, we've drafted his replacement in Banks and Moore, time to throw one out there and see if they stick.
Trey does make it a conundrum though as you don't want to destabilise your line with a young QB, is the Franchise tag out of the question?

I'm not sure what to make of that, but it gives a good glimpse into the state of guard play in the league as well as O-line play overall.

Were so terrible at drafting guards though. It might be worth it to avoid drafting another buffet buster.

It's not that he's just a good player, he's a true professional. He lives as a professional football player. He's invaluable to our lockeroom & the younger guys. We have to resign him & if we don't I think Trent Williams will not be happy at all
