Yeah he's from Florida so I expect this to happen.

Buuuuuut the Dolphins did also trade for a Speedy former 9er RB who had one good 9er season.... and the Dolphins didn't end up keeping him after.

I hope they are hesitant with signing Mostert, after that past experience with Matt Breida.

Mostert's story was pretty crazy. Dude went from bouncing around 7 teams and playing special teams to being one of the best wide zone runners ever. Dude was unreal in this scheme when he was healthy.

Honestly, it makes so much sense for Mostert to follow McDaniel. McDaniel is specifically credited for his run game, so if there's a guy that's going to utilize Mostert well outside of San Francisco, it's him.

Hope they can bring him back on a reasonable deal. He and Mitchell would back a nice 1-2 punch and hopefully Sermon comes around

Same. I doubt he's got a big market for him.

Although I can see him wanting a change of scenery and Maimi is definitely a team he would go to. Especially since he likes surfing...

Its better in California for that. I think he does a 1 year deal somewhere. Hopefully it's with us for cheap.

Idk too much about the surf scene in the Bay Area. But it does seem like Miami would be a perfect fit for him if he wants a fresh start.

The only thing Florida has going for it surf wise is the water temp. Better surf up and down the Ca. coastline. Florida doesn't come close

We need Mostert here. If he still cheetah. He and Mitchell need to split carries.

As much as I like Mostert, I think FA priorities will probably mean he leaves. We have several very good RBs, and we need to dedicate our FA dollars elsewhere. I'll be happy for him wherever he goes.
If he's healthy, which he says he will be, the 49ers really have to consider bringing him back on something like a 2 year deal.

He really is a game changer and his acceleration is different than almost any other player in the NFL (he is the fastest player).

If the $ doesn't work, Miami makes sense as others have pointed out but I think they can't just let him walk without talking to his agent.

Right. Bring him in because we need as many explosive players on offense as we can handle

Given that his last two seasons have ended early due to injury, I don't think he'll cost much. He'll be 30 by the time the season starts. I'd love it if he came back and had the explosiveness he had before... he and Elijah Mitchell would be a fantastic duo. But I'm not expecting him back unless it's on a cheap deal.
He has played 25% of the last two seasons. He had a great end of the 2019 season, and that is about all he has done in his career. Two years isn't wise

He's not just explosive...he reads the OZ great. Plus he is a true 4.3 in-season, mid-season burner. Not some pro day hypester. That's what was missing this year. Mitchell -- although he was fantastic --got dinged, read inside breaks a lot, and didn't generate the 25+ yard chunk plays that Shanny's system needs to hurt the other team game in game out. He's a real cog honestly.

Led the league against 8 man boxes

The power of .3

He is the perfect back for Shannan offense. Reads well and is explosive. Have to do what it takes to bring him back.
Durability is the deal killer.
