We have "Star" QBs in this league that did not match his level of production......

the guy put up serious production on a team that still needs major overhauls in the passing game.

I mostly agree with you, I don't know how much of it was system performance verus his God given ability.....but as long as we have our HC.... Mullen's A game is lights out.

I still think JG is the future...but we are in a damn good spot with one of the hardest position to fill.....

If you shave CJ's head he almost looks like Dilfer's twin. Why the hell is he training with Dilfer, that guy sucks. Who knows, maybe he's a lot better QB coach than he was a QB.
How is this thing even a competition? Do they even watch the games? Nick Mullens is like 10,000 times better than CJ Beathard. There is no comparison. Does our coaching staff even watch the games? Because that is the only way you could look at this like it's a "competition." If you even watched last season it's absolutely clear to anybody. Beathard has never shown anything on par with what Nick Mullens did last season. Mullens is a gamer. He reads the field fast, makes the right decision, gets the ball out quick and is very accurate. None of which Beathard can do very well. It's astonishing to me that they are calling this a competition.

Agree 100% Cj just sucks the life out the whole team and 49er fans evrything is 1000 times more difficult when he's under center. Sucks that we traded up for him and got him so early in the draft.

Things must be going well when fans are moaning about our 3rd string quarterback. Personally I shall be I interested to see the progress made.

Well, given our recent history our back up QB is critical to the team, and it will remain that way until JG plays an entire season.

I am interested in seeing progress here too, but do think Mullens will be our #2 given what he looked like vs CJ.

He will suck even more after coddling with DILF
I would make CJ available to everyone right now, and say that he will be traded to the highest bidder before Day 1 of the draft. I wonder what we could get for him? A 5th or 6th round pick? CJ is a semi proven young player who provides value to a team as a cheap back up QB.

Yeah he doesn't want to be as good as a guy like Kap or RG3

This dude is aiming to be a real good starter / take away JG's job...

CJ BeatHard is probably comfy with being the 3rd option and coddling with a DILF
We still control Mullens for 3 seasons right (counting this coming season)?

Well if we can't deal before the draft, then I'm hoping he has a solid camp / preseason. If he kills it, teams will be calling to trade and maybe we can get a solid depth guy for a position of need and/or a 2020 4th rd (3rd at best).

CJ provides nothing to nobody. Cheap backups who can come in and make sure you lose games are a dime a dozen.
