I say we give Mullen the chance to be starter full time.

if Jimmy is fragile and can't stay healthy like Jimmie Ward, we should look for another QB next year.

Mullens is okay, but to me, he is just a slightly better Shaun Hill

If that's the case just draft Murray if he's there at #2

LOL but nah. If Murray played behind our line last year (or this year), he'd be paralyzed...all 5'6 167 lbs of him

Mullens is better than Goff, Foles, Brad Johnson and Trent DILF...
Not sure about you guys but it's exciting to see Mullens training hard and trying to get that starter spot if Jimmy G goes down again. Don't get me wrong I'm hoping for the best and I believe in Jimmy G but still he is unproven but already got the fiancé and myself the jerseys this past Christmas
Mullen is the real deal, he will be that franchise QB that take us to the promised land. GQ? he is good and I love GQ but Mullen is special, he is the QB that truly knows Shanny's playbook like no one else.

Promised land folks, its the promised land we are talking about. GQ has super high trade value being hand picked my Shanny, with that trade, we will have super cap room with Mullen the low cost QB.

I love GQ but high cap room and promised land > GQ,

OK I am a Mullen fan boy, dead hard fan boy.

Kyle will need a much stronger run game to minimize Mullens limited physicality. Jimmy does have a much stronger arm than Mullins, and so does BeatHard - and those five and 10 yard outs are staple routes for Jimmy and Beathard, and serve to move the defenses away from the middle to free up runs there. If somehow Mullens can get his arm even just a tad bit stronger, with his great knowledge of the offense and his good decision making ability -- he will be a very good QB. Just give him an O Line that he can rely on, and a good run game to lean on, and some more experience in this system -- I can see him taking the team quite far.

nick is so much better than hill, jimmy has had some injuries and is a concern given the state of our offensive line.. but it is very insulting to mention him and ward in the same sentence

Hill had a much better record for us as a starter than Mullens has had so far, with some pretty cruddy teams behind him.

I like Mullens a lot, but I gotta defend my man Hill. Hill did a good job for us.

Nick Mullens, makes all undrafted team. I think we can safely trade BeatHard because of Mullen's emergence as a good backup QB, and get a good mid to late round pick for him.

Not to kick this off with a hot take, but Mullens last year showed the patience, pocket toughness and field vision of a future NFL starter. We know Keenum can orchestrate an offense, but it'd be one dependent on run-pass balance and defined reads. This team (the Scrappers) should see if Mullens can turn into the NFL's next Tony Romo (yes, we realize the two players have completely different styles), and if it doesn't work out, Keenum is waiting in the wings."
.
I am a certified Mullen fanboy, I am absolutely convinced that Mullen is the real deal and the only one that could bring us to the promised land.
